In the trunk builds of Camino and the upcoming 1.6 have added a reference to Firefox in our UA string. This created some controversy, but finally landed and now we can actually browse sites that choose to ignore the gecko version.

For Reference: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=384721

The music is what drives me nuts on MySpace as well, not that I use either site much at all. But, it does appear according to that data from HitWise that MySpace is still king.

@Andrew sounds like a Quibblo poll in the making

I do prefer Facebook to Myspace. Not only does it appeal to me aesthetically, but you don't get music blaring at you on random page views - probably the most annoying thing about Myspace, because I am usually already listening to music anyway. Before applications you could go on Facebook, see if anyone has written on your wall, then leave. Now there's just more action. Some of it is crap but overall I think it's a win.

I could see doing this for say, Internet Explorer 6 'cause it sucks, but a Gecko based browser? C'mon.

I wonder how many African Americans use Apple products? Not your point I know, but I wonder...

Also, ironically (for me anyways) the opening up of Facebook to the developers actually made Facebook worse and made me want to use it less. Not saying MySpace is a walk in the park, but I can't go five minutes without getting some spammy facebook application bothering me to throw food at someone or join some retardo game.
