Radiohead’s latest release is out today (10/10). In an effort to bring music directly to the fans they’re releasing it for download and also in a disc box format. The greatest thing about it is the fact that you can name your OWN price. I hope this experiment in distribution of music is successful and repeated across the board. I paid £3 or about $6 USD. It’s Music to my ears, and wallet.

UPDATE 10/14/07 Salon reports that Radiohead has sold over 1 million albums since it’s 10/10 release. By going directly to the consumers, Radiohead is receiving insane profit margins. Thom Yorke is rolling in greenbacks.
