Quibblo Realign Teaser

Quibblo began as a freelance project and has become a full-time position. I’ve spent the last month cleaning up a lot of the structure, markup and design that was first developed in haste to get Quibblo ready for launch. Here is a teaser, be sure to drop by the site this Friday Monday to see the result. It feels good to finally get things as they should be, but then again a website is never done.

Easy-Bake CSS Background Transparency

Whenever I feel the need to use transparency it always seems like I am dealing with tones. Make this a little darker, give this a bit softer tone. Couple this with the fact that I’m always looking for easy and reusable ways of doing things and you have Easy-Bake Background Transparency.

It’s nothing fancy really just a collection of white and black PNG’s that are grouped by their transparency 10% - 90%. Saves fellow designers the 15 minutes it took to create all the images! (background color added for display purposes)

PNG’s are 5×5px that should be tiled. Example of use:

.w10 {
background: url("/images/w10.png") repeat;
}
