SXSW 2007 Must See Panels
It’s the third year for me going to SXSW and I hope to make it the best yet. Every year I meet new and exciting people and I come back so excited and ready to dive back into work with fearless passion. My relationships with many colleagues and friends have started at SXSW all of whom are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met.
I’d like to give a quick see you soon to Cindy, Tom, Pat, Ian, Jeremy, Richard, The Brit Pack, Veerle and everyone (my hands are cramping up) I’ve met and has influenced me in some way at past South By South West conferences.
Below is a list of panels I’m planning to attend on Saturday, March 10th:
- Web App Autopsy - As much as I like building, I like ripping it down.
- Ten Ways to Run a Startup Like Genghis Khan - Particle Tree guys, much respect.
- Writing, Better - For my fans
- The Influence of Art in Design - Good friends
- Turning Projects Into Revenue Generating Businesses - I can build it, now what? Show me the $$$.

<li><a href="http://2007.sxsw.com/interactive/programming/panels/?action=show&id=IAP060166">Grids Are Good and How to Design with Them</a> - I need to incorporate more grids in my designs.</li>

And that’s just the first day!
Stay tuned for updates throughout. And if you can make it, be sure to let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to checkout and I’ll do my best to report!

Since I willn’t be in attendance, I’ll be keeping a close look on your site to see any updates. I’m definitely interested in that “When JavaScript and Ajax Go Bad” panel, so bring back some nuggets of knowledge! And as always, I’ll be holding the FC/YD fort down while you’re away!

I’ve heard that The Influence of Art in Design is going to be an awesome panel. I’d definitely check that one out. I’m not biased or anything…

I agree with Bill - the Ajax session was a smart one to have - too many people are overusing it now. I’m really interested in the Turning Projects into Revenue session, though. I think we both struggle in finding out how to leverage the technology we build.
